Jamie Morris

Jamie is a recognized expert in business and tech-enabled strategy, and in operations across the Healthcare and Life Sciences industry.  She has over 20 years of experience developing and implementing strategies and solutions involving AI, big data, and enterprise software through leadership roles as both a Partner in strategy consulting and a corporate executive in strategy, commercial operations, business development, sales & marketing and customer service.

Prior to Blue Ox, Jamie began her consulting career at PWC and then IBM Global Business Services, where over nine years she rose to Partner in the Life Sciences Strategy practice and was its recognized expert in managed markets, and was chosen to be Chief of Staff for the $12 billion North America division. She has worked with the leadership at each of the top 20 biopharmaceutical companies, and among her notable assignments she led the managed markets integration teams on three $60+ billion biopharma mergers.  She was one of three IBM partners who created and then managed the group that became IBM Watson Health, transitioning it from a research project into a multi-million dollar commercial business. Following IBM, Jamie was Vice President of Commercial Strategy at Veeva, a market leader in enterprise cloud solutions for the global life sciences industry, where she oversaw the go-to-market strategy for the commercial portfolio, which accounted for over two-thirds of Veeva’s revenue at the time. After Veeva she became Commercial General Manager and Senior Vice President at Wuxi NextCODE, a global genomics biotech company, where she led operations, business development, and sales, marketing and customer support.  Most recently she was recruited by Accenture to be an executive consultant for a $70+ billion market-leading biopharma acquisition where she consulted on pre- and post-merger strategies and led the integration teams for managed markets and the core global therapeutics businesses.

Jamie holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business, with extensive study in human biology, from Lehigh University.
